Mount Si boys soccer loses finals against Skyline; will get another chance to go to State

As the second seed going into the 2016 KingCo 4A Boys Soccer Tournament, Mount Si lost 0-4 against Skyline on Monday, May 9 at Skyline High School.

As the second seed going into the 2016 KingCo 4A Boys Soccer Tournament, Mount Si lost 0-4 against Skyline on Monday, May 9 at Skyline High School.

With the win against Mount Si, the Skyline Spartans take the KingCo championships and send the Wildcats to play against the second place team from the Greater St. Helens League for another chance to make it to State.

This loss brings Mount Si’s overall record to 12 wins and three losses and two ties.

The GSHL final game is between Camas and Union, with the loser going to face off against Mount Si at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. The winner of that game will earn their way to State alongside Skyline.
