It was a busy time last week for Mount Si High School baseball, as they played four games in five days, defeating Cedarcrest and Mercer Island, but falling to Skyline and Liberty.
The Chief Kanim Middle School eighth-grade girls’ soccer team finished a brilliant season with three wins, two ties and a loss. The girls endured eight weeks of fantastic development, not only as a team but as individuals.

Linnea Baysinger, a seventh-grade student at Chief Kanim Middle School in Fall City, finished first in the J4 division at the Junior Olympics March 22 to 24 in Bogus Basin, Idaho. Anna Mounsey, a seventh-grade student at Snoqualmie Middle School, finished third overall in that division. Both young ladies compete with the TAS Alpental Snoqualmie team.
Several sports camps led by high school coaches and players are planned at Mount Si High School this summer.

The referee for the contest appeared to be the same one who assessed a controversial red card on Isackson during the Wildcats’ 1-1 tie at Skyline on Friday, March 14. That red card cost Isackson a one-game suspension; one more red would cost him the rest of his senior season according to high school rules. Isackson will return for Mount Si’s games this week against the Spartans and Mercer Island.
