Mount Si’s lone representative in the 3A state cross country meet last Saturday in Pasco fared well, despite her showing on the leaderboard.

Junior Alex Rudd clocked a time of 20:15, good for 57th place in the girls’ meet, held in cold and cloudy conditions at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. Rudd finished two seconds better than her 2007 state time of 20:17, which was good that year for 21st.

Mercer Island, Mount Si’s Kingco 3A rival, took the overall 3A girls team title.
