Learn competitive fencing skills
in Fall City twin duelists’ club
The Bellevue school that is home to Fall City fencers Holly and Grace Madland is offering classes on the basics of the sport of fencing.
Hillside Student Community is inviting youth to join their fencing group, the Hillside Cavaliers Fencing Club, and learn how to use a foil and sabre, which are the weapons used in the sport. Enrollment is open now for young people ages 10 to 18. Sessions are 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the school’s gym, 5027 159th Pl. S.E., Bellevue. Hole in one sunk at TPC
Mark Anderson sunk a hole in one on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Snoqualmie Ridge Tournament Players Course. Anderson used an eight iron to send the ball the 160-yard distance to hole number nine.
