More than 800 runners crossed the finish line in the second annual Snoqualmie Ridge Turkey Trot, held Saturday, Nov. 14.

Dustin Hudspeth of Snoqualmie was the fastest finisher, with a time of 17:16 in the men’s 5K race, while Susan Korol, also of Snoqualmie, beat all other women with a time of 19:44 in the 5K run.

Youngest 5K finishers included seven-year-olds Nicole Mather and Kalli Sundwall, while the oldest finishers were Mel Preedy, 76, and Judy Fisher, 66. Of the total, 663 runners hailed from the Snoqualmie Valley, more than 500 from Snoqualmie.

Weather was mostly sunny for the fun, and a cool 38 degrees.

More than $13,000 in proceeds from the race now go to the Snoqualmie Elementary and Cascade View Elementary parent-teacher associations.
