Youth recreational basketball skill sessions begin in November the Valley, organized by Si View Metro Park.

Skill sessions allow coaches to see the skill level of players, while youth can display their abilities before the basketball season begins.  They let players meet some of the coaches that could work with them throughout the upcoming season. Sessions begin Nov. 1 for youth in grades K-2, and continue over the next few weeks for older players. Cost is free. A winter rec league for elementary, middle and high school players follows.
